Rüdiger Durchholz
Rüdiger is a Mining Engineer with 26 years of experience in Open Cast Mining Operations and Consultancy. He worked in numerous consultancy projects worldwide and specialized in planning, development and closure of opencast mining projects with special focus on unconsolidated rock and continuous mining equipment such bucket wheel excavators, conveyor as well as in pit crushing and conveying.

Thomas Imgrund
Thomas holds 18 years of experience in the mining industry and has been leading and supporting consulting projects worldwide. His focus is on mine ventilation and the management of mine and exhaust gases. Thomas worked on engineering studies of various levels as well as optimisation of operations and safety. He was involved in the investigation of explosions and gas outbursts, always targeting the safe re-commissioning of operations.

Dietmar Plum
Dietmar is a Mechanical Engineer with 40 years of experience in Mining Operations and Consultancy. As head of DMT’s mining machines test department he worked in numerous consultancy projects worldwide in mine planning and development. His experience covers underground as well as open pit mining equipment. Dietmar worked on extraction, conveying, bulk handling and on commissioning projects, e.g. underground extraction systems, belt conveyors, bucket wheel excavators and spreaders.

Axel Studeny
Axel is a Geotechnical Engineer with 22 years of experience in Geotechnical Engineering and Consultancy. He worked in numerous projects worldwide as project manager and engineer with the main focus in geotechnical design projects for underground and open pit mines as well as other geotechnical cavities like tunnels or caverns. He is specialized in stability calculations with numerical, analytical and empirical methods, support design for underground cavities, slope design for open pits as well as preparation and evaluation of geotechnical design studies.

Bernd Teigler
is an economic geologist specialising in geology, exploration, resource definition and economic assessments. He graduated 1985 and obtained in 1990 a PhD (Geology) with a thesis covering, inter alia, the relationship between platinum-group elements and chromitites from Rhodes University, South Africa. Bernd has more than 25 years of experience in the area of exploration and development of mineral projects from target generation, grass-roots exploration to resource definition and economic viability studies.
Bernd is a registered member of the South African Council of Natural Scientific Professions (SACNASP). He is a Fellow of the Society of Economic Geologists and a member of the Canadian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy. Bernd has been engaged in exploration projects targeting PGE, Cr, Ni, Co, Fe, V, Ti, REE, Au, Ag, Cu, Pb, Zn, and Ta with major and minor mining and exploration companies world-wide. Since 2008, Bernd is a principal economic geologist at DMT GmbH & Co. KG.

Nikolaos Christou
With 22 years of experience in the sector, Nikolaos Christou possesses a sound background in senior professional roles including international mining project development, production planning, operations management, and mining consulting.
His experience comprises conventional trackless underground and open pit mining operations as well as continuous exploitation techniques applied in opencast mines. During his career, he has successfully conducted projects in cross-cultural environments across four continents.
